Today marks the beginning of the end. Liza has departed for Boston, wisdom teeth romoval, and eventually Argentina. We had a great month of adventures between the three of us this summer, but sadly this next month Gabi and I will have to continue onward without Liza. We will miss her dearly while she is away and look forward to seeing her again in January!!!

I wanted dino nuggets, but I also wanted to finish off a jar of tomato sauce so I could use it as a drinking jug. Liza gave me the wonderful idea of putting my dino nuggets together and making chicken parm..DINO PARM!!!! Best idea ever :) What will I do when she is gone and I won’t know how to consolidate foods? I wonder sometimes…

This weekend, Alex and Liza spent two days in Philly without Gabi there. Looking back, this seems rather odd. So both of these pictures from the weekend only have Liza and Alex in them. Gabi, we miss you! (Even though we’re with you right now. Irrelevant.)
On Friday, everyone (including Gabi!) went into Philly and met up with the Lizzies and ate delicious Mexican food and gelato. Unfortunately, we don’t have any pictures from that excursion.

Saturday, Liza and Alex went to the Franklin Institute with Pranay (Alex’s friend from high school), Matt, and JLHorn. Liza and Alex took a picture in this awesome plane that was kind of dangling from the ceiling in the air exhibit.

Sunday, there was a mini 3/3 reunion in honor of Kelley’s return from South Africa! We ate delicious pancakes at the Lizzies’ apartment in Philly (which is now actually the Lizzies + Kelley). Side note: Whole Foods pancakes are delicious. In the photo, we’re on the stairs in the Lizzies’+Kelley’s apartment. (Man, Kelley, your parents should’ve named you Lizzy. Or Lizzie. Or even Lizzi. It would’ve been easier.)

So all in all, it was a pretty good weekend, except for Gabi’s absence in Philly on two days out of three, which definitely takes the quality down a notch.

Also, Alex and Gabi, it’s your guys’ turn to post. I can only do so much talking about myself in the third person. :P

We’re still alive…

No, none of us got raptured…we just haven’t posted in awhile. The three of us are all together on campus for…get ready for it…

HCA Summer 2011!!!

Gabi and I are roommates in lovely 38 2A, and Alex lives right downstairs in 38 1D. This is kind of the homestretch of our time together before Alex and I go abroad and won’t see Gabi for a year. I will be leaving to go home to Boston on July 2nd, and after that Gabi and Alex only have until July 31 together! :( But we’ll make the most of the time we have left.

We haven’t had too many adventures yet besides working our jobs, going to wawa, and cooking meals (and Gabi cooks some awesome meals), but there will definitely be more photos etc. to come!

Bien Viaje!

Alex left to go home for the week today. I was Facebook chatting with him while he was at the airport and he said, “So if my stomach is this upset about leaving you.guys for a week, how am I supposed to deal with a semester?” I have no idea how he is going to deal, but I’m definitely feeling the friend missing sickness too. I can’t tell whether it was the all-nighter I pulled, allergies, or stress, but I have a terrible headache which I am convinced would be alleviated if Alex was still here. Fall 2011/Spring 2012 be prepared for a lot of psychosomatic illness induced by missing each other!

Sincerely,

Gabi
